The album was released on April 15, 2008 in the United States.^[4] It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 463,000 copies sold, making it the biggest opening week sales of her career. The album stayed at number one for two consecutive weeks. The first single from the album, "Touch My Body", reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and "Bye Bye" has reached within the Top 20 so far.

I am really a fan of Mariah Carey, since I was in Form 2 (1994). I like all her album and the songs....nobody can really sing like her, write songs like her, lyrics and produce album like her. There was a few times when people listen in disbelief that I am her fan because all they see is her sexy photos and revealing outfits...well I know her better before she change her image and dressing sense...the most important thing is her voice never change, if yes, only for the better...

Whenever I am feeling down, dispirit, I'll listen to her songs, such as hero...when I fall in love, I like her songs-emotions, dream lover...when I feel like dancing, I listen to her songs, all the classics, she sing it all...work with Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston..

She was backup singer for singers such as babyface before and she went through a lot before becoming as successful as she is now. She's not just beautiful but talented...Way to Go Mariah!
